A reader sent me an email asking if you can make the turnip fries without the oil.... of course you can :) I personally do prefer the coconut oil because it reminds me more like fries.... however, these are delicious without them.
Directions: Wash and peel turnip and cut in same-size shapes and sizes. Lay on parchment lined paper and sprinkle with salt. Bake in oven at 400, checking every so often. Flip them halfway through. once ready, remove from oven and sprinkle cinnamon (or other spices) and more salt.
