I had a long day.... I am off to bed soon, but I wanted to share this awesome new recipe I found long ago and tried... homemade almond milk! It is so easy to make. I took 40 calories of almonds, 1/2 cup water and blended it until pureed in my magic bullet. You can add sugar free honey, cinnamon, or stevia for flavoring. Or even cocoa powder! I made it plain tonight since I knew I was mixing with protein powder. Once I made it, I added one scoop casein protein powder, 2 ice cubes and some xantham gum... and made this awesome, awesome chocolate pudding that was perfect for a nighttime dessert! It was wicked thick.
