Siggi's Icelandic Style Yogurt

Thanks to Siggi's Yogurt for sending me coupons to sample their icelandic style "skyr" yogurt. WOW, this is really high quality yogurt!!! One container of the plain yogurt has 100 calories, 0 fat, 6 grams carbs, only 4 grams sugar and 17 grams protein! The only ingredients are skim milk, lice active cultures and vegetable rennet. Skyr is a big part of the Iceland diet. Siggi's makes their yogurt from Cow's milk. You can purchase Siggi's yogurt from whole foods. I also saw some at stop and shop as well. For info on where to locate, click here. Not only does this yogurt have awesome stats, but it tastes delicious. It's very thick like greek yogurt.

What is skyr?
Skyr is the traditional yogurt of Iceland. It is made by incubating skim milk with live active cultures. The whey, the water naturally found in milk, is then strained away to make for a much thicker, creamier, concentrated yogurt. So to make just one cup of skyr, with all that water going out, you need 3 - 4 times the amount of milk required to make a regular cup of yogurt. As a result of this process skyr comes out with 2-3 times the protein count of standard yogurt.

I got all plain since i like to mix mine with stuff. However, they also come in the following flavors:
* pomegranate and passion fruit
* vanilla
* orange and ginger
* blueberry
* grapefruit
* acai
* plain
