Gnu Bars (Product Review)

Note: Thank you to Gnu Bars for sending me 7 of their bars to sample. Gnu bars are high fiber bars. One Gnu Bar a day gives you 12 grams of soluble and insoluble fiber, which is almost 50% of your daily value of fiber.

Flavors include:
- Espresso Chip
- Lemon Ginger
- Banana Walnut
- Cinnamon Raisin
- Chocolate Brownie
- Peanut Butter
- Orange Cranberry

According to their website:
- Fiber helps lower cholesterol which is good for your heart
- Fiber absorbs and helps eliminate toxins from your body
- Fiber-rich foods aid in weight loss by making you feel fuller longer
- Only 130 - 140 Calories (varies by flavor)

The first bar I sampled today was the peanut butter (obviously!) It was very delicious. There were small pieces of peanuts in the bar. It didn't taste like there was a ton of fiber in it, like the other high fiber products out there. It was a very delicious bar. It kind of reminded me of a softer, chewier nature valley peanut butter bar. If you are looking for a way to add more fiber in your diet, and you love peanut butter, I recommend you try this bar.

One bar contains 140 calories, 5 grams of fat, 7 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein.
