Pure Bar (Product Review)

Note: Thank you to PURE bar for sending me samples of their energy bars. I tried the cherry cashew bar first and it was delicious. There are huge chunks of cashews in the bar (see photos below) and the bar is very sweet from the natural fruit sugars. And their name pretty much sums it all up: Pure. These bars are all natural and raw. I had this bar as a mid morning snack and it kept me full until lunch time.

From their website: Our founder, Veronica Bosgraaf, created the Pure Bar for vegetarians - there are no refined sugars or preservatives. Our nutrition bars are also raw, meaning they are cold-processed to protect the quality of vital antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. (In other words, our PURE bar kinda does grow on trees!) Pure Bar is also certified gluten-free.

Flavors include:
- Apple Cinnamon
- Cherry Cashew
- Chocolate Brownie
- Cranberry Orange
- Trail Mix
- Wild Blueberry

Cherry Cashew: Our Cherry Cashew Bar contains dried, unsweetened, organic tart cherries. Cherries are undoubtedly one of the most antioxidant-rich foods, with powerful phytonutrients and a good dose of Vitamin C, to promote healthy aging and a strong immune system. We choose extremely high quality tart Oregon cherries with excellent flavor that are not sugar-infused (like many), but are carefully dried in their natural state!

Organic Dates, Organic Cherries, Organic Walnuts, Organic Agave Nectar, Organic Almonds, Organic Cashews, Organic Brown Rice Protein, and that’s all! (unless you count the 15 essential vitamins and minerals, antioxidants from cherries, and healthy Omega 3 fats in every bite). Nothing cooked. Nothing processed.
