Note: Oh... my... god... this recipe took me a little while to work up the nerve to try it, but it came out awesome. Anyone who knows me KNOWS I love chocolate peanut butter combination of anything... This recipe serves 1 (2 pancakes), and I topped each one with 1 tsp all natural crunchy PB. SOO GOOD!
- 5 egg whites
- 1-2 tablespoons hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder (I used 1- also, you could use choc protein powder instead) (1 tbspn is included in macros)
- pinch of baking powder (I used 1/4 teaspoon)
- optional toppings: Peanut butter, cream cheese, cottage cheese (not included in macros)
Mix ingredients. Scoop 1/2 cup batter into pam-sprayed non-stick skillet. After 1-2 minutes, flip like a pancake. Do the same with the remaining batter. Top with peanut butter or cream cheese.
